L'Oréal: innovates to revolutionise hair washing

(CercleFinance.com) - At the CES 2021 L'Oréal presented its latest "beauty tech" innovation, L'Oréal Water Saver, a sustainable hair care technology for hair salons and the home.


Developed with the Swiss start-up Gjosa, this "new way to wash and care for your hair: one that saves water while improving upon luxury and efficiency," L'Oréal says, which boasts around an 80% reduction in water consumption.

The principle? Hair products are directly incorporated into the water and applied by means of the pommel.

"L'Oréal Water Saver creates droplets that are 10 times smaller, for better absorption and faster rinsing," L'Oréal said, thereby "ensuring every drop of water is used in the hair washing and rinsing process while making shampoos, conditioners, and other treatments easier to rinse," it added.
