L'Oréal: sales to end-September down 8.6%

(CercleFinance.com) - L'Oréal has published sales of 20.
11 billion euros at 30 September 2020, down 8.6%.

In comparable terms sales were down 7.4%, i.e. at constant consolidation scope and exchange rates.

At end-September, the Professional Products Division posted a 10.9% drop and -13.1% as reported. The Consumer Products Division posted a 6.2% fall in comparable data and -8.6% as reported. L'Oréal Luxe performance was -13.1% in comparable data and -11.9% as reported in a global market for luxury beauty which is down about 19%.

At the end of September, the group's Active Cosmetics division posted growth of 15.2% on a like-for-like basis and 10.7% as reported.
