TotalEnergies: development agreements signed in Libya

(CercleFinance.com) - At the Libya Energy & Economy Summit, the first such conference held in Libya for 10 years, TotalEnergies announces the signature with the Libyan authorities of various agreements for the sustainable development of the country's natural resources.


A memorandum of understanding was signed between TotalEnergies and the national electricity company for the development of solar photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 500 MW to supply the Libyan electricity grid.

In addition, the Libyan government approved the joint acquisition, by TotalEnergies and ConocoPhillips, of Hess' 8.16% stake in the Waha concessions, which will increase TotalEnergies' share in these concessions from 16.33% to 20.41%.
