Total: BlackRock raises stake

(CercleFinance.com) - BlackRock, acting on behalf of its clients and funds under its management, has informed the AMF that on 1 June it raised its stake in Total's capital to above the thresholds of 5% of its voting rights and that it now holds 5.
44% of the energy group's capital and 5.15% of its voting rights.

The US asset manager says that these thresholds were crossed due to share purchases, both on the market and OTC, along with an increase in the number of shares held as collateral.
