Total: 21% of second interim dividend paid in shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Total has announced that at the end of the option period open from 19 December 2017 to 3 January 2018 inclusive, 21% of the rights were exercised in favour of the payment in shares of the second dividend interim payment for FY 2017.


Thus, 7,087,904 new shares will be issued, representing 0.28% of the group's capital, at a price that was set at 46.55 euros on 12 December. The settlement-delivery of the shares and their admission to Euronext Paris will occur on 11 January.

The second interim payment for 2017, which will be paid in cash to shareholders who have not opted for the share option payment, amounts to 1,231 million euros and will be paid from 11 January 2018.
