Carrefour: expands collaboration with Blackhawk Network

(CercleFinance.com) - UK-based Blackhawk Network on Tuesday announced an expansion of its gift card partnership with Carrefour Group.


Under the terms of the collaboration, Blackhawk will manage the retailer's third-party gift card program for France, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Spain, Romania, Argentina and Brazil.

With this expanded partnership, Carrefour will be able to market gift cards from international and local brands, including premium retailers and gaming and entertainment providers.

At the same time, Blackhawk Network will offer Carrefour-branded gift cards as a fully managed service in the eight countries covered by the agreement, including supply chain, operations and customer service.

Carrefour and Blackhawk Network have been working together for over 11 years.
