Carrefour: annual national collection operation

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced its 26th annual national collection operation with the Food Banks.


Welcomed in over 1,200 stores throughout France, volunteers will collect donations from customers at the checkouts over the weekend.

The National Collection, which takes place on 26, 27 and 28 November, enables the general public to collect 11% of the products distributed over the year, the equivalent of several million meals for the most disadvantaged.

Carrefour also provides logistical support by participating in the financing of refrigerated trucks and cold rooms, enabling the Food Banks to optimise the logistical management of donations received.
