Carrefour: loyalty card integrated into Apple Wallet

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour says its customers can now add their loyalty card to Apple Wallet and use it at the checkout, making it the first European retailer to combine its loyalty program with Apple Pay, within Apple Wallet.


Checking out will now become completely contactless. When making a purchase with Apple Pay, the loyalty card is automatically presented on Carrefour customers' iPhone or Apple Watch, who can pay and add to their loyalty kitty in a single move, the French food retailer said.
