Carrefour: bond repurchase offer a success

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour announces the result of its bond repurchase offer launched on 14 November 2019.


The offer concerned 1 billion euros worth of bonds with a 4.00% coupon maturing on 9 April 2020 and 1 billion euros of bonds with a coupon of 3.875% and maturing on 25 April 2021.

On the expiry of the repurchase offer, a cumulative nominal amount of 326,775,000 euros of bonds was transferred to Carrefour and accepted, including 198,085,000 euros of 2020 Bonds and 128,690,000 euros of 2021 Bonds.

The offer's settlement date has been set for 26 November 2019. At the end of the offer, the nominal amount remaining in circulation will reach 801,915,000 euros for the 2020 bonds and 871,310,000 euros for the 2021 bonds, the group said.
