Carrefour: wants to step up digital transformation

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour group announces that Carrefour Romania is continuing its digital transformation by strengthening its partnership with Google; having launched a biometric payment system.


Carrefour Romania has strengthened its strategic partnership with Google to explore new ways of developing e-commerce.

The group is therefore launching Carrefour Techdays, training hours intended for 300 employees to share knowledge on digital and learn how to better anticipate and meet the needs of customers.

Carrefour Romania has also been testing a digital biometric recognition payment system in its Skanska supermarket in Bucharest since February. This revolutionary payment method is offered at both the store's traditional and automatic checkouts.
