Air Liquide: invests in ASU in north India

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide announces that it will invest approximately 3,500 million rupees (about 40 million euros) in a new air separation unit (ASU) dedicated to Industrial Merchant in Kosi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in Northern India.


This unit will have a production capacity of 350 tonnes per day, including a maximum of 300 tonnes of oxygen. Air Liquide India will build, own and operate this ASU, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2023.

The ASU will enable Air Liquide India to meet the growing demand for gases in the automotive, metal fabrication, heat treatment, photovoltaic and electronics industries, as well as in local hospitals.
