Air Liquide: several hydrogen projects in South Korea
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide announced on Tuesday that it is accelerating its hydrogen projects in South Korea, where demand is growing strongly.
The industrial gas manufacturer said it had recently signed an agreement with energy group SK E&S to supply the world's largest hydrogen liquefaction plant, which has a capacity of 90 tonnes per day.
Air Liquide says it has also signed an MoU with the chemical group Lotte to jointly invest in new high-pressure hydrogen distribution centres and hydrogen stations.
It has also signed an MoU with Yeosu City and South Jeolla Province to explore other investment projects.
In addition, the Group has joined two Korean consortia on hydrogen mobility dedicated to the deployment of hydrogen stations for light commercial vehicles and for heavy trucks.
