Air Liquide: contract with Asda in the UK

(CercleFinance.com) - ASDA, a major supermarket group in the UK, has entrusted the installation and operation of six biomethane (bio-CNG) stations to Air Liquide to refuel lorries on its sites.


British group ASDA will put more than 300 new lorries fuelled by bio CNG (compressed natural gas) into circulation in 2021 in order to reduce the environmental impact of its transport activity.

Air Liquide will install and operate biomethane stations in 6 of the distributor's 15 sites. These stations will serve to refuel ASDA's lorries, as well as those of certain partners.
