JCDecaux: wins street furniture contract for Brussels

(CercleFinance.com) - Following a call to tender, JCDecaux has won the street furniture contract for the city of Brussels (metropolitan area: 1.
2 million inhabitants), the capital of Belgium and head offices of several institutions of the European Union.

This exclusive 15-year contract covers the design, installation, upkeep, operation and maintenance of 335 bus shelters and 215 Urban Furniture For Information (MUPIs).

It said that the new furniture, designed by JCDecaux, specifically for the city of Brussels. It is inspired by the Horta design of the furniture already installed in order to guarantee harmonious integration into the urban surroundings.
