JCDecaux: heavy losses in 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has reported a net loss (group share) of 604.
6 million euros for FY 2020, compared to a profit of 265.5 million euros in 2019, with an adjusted operating margin (before impairment charges) of -15.3% compared to +9.9% the previous year.

Adjusted revenue slumped 40.6% to 2.31 billion euros (-38.1% in organic terms), with street furniture and billboard activities declining less than the transport business, which was impacted by the collapse in international airport passenger traffic.

In view of its 2020 results, the the outdoor advertising group's management board will recommend that no dividend be paid in 2021 at its next AGM, which is set to be held on 20 May.
