JCDecaux: new feature tested for carpooling

(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has announced that it will try out a new feature that makes its passenger shelters meeting points for carpoolers.

To this end, the group has teamed up with BlaBlaLines, the home-to-work carpooling application developed by BlaBlaCar.

Over a pilot phase of six months, 100 passenger shelters in Toulouse and 30 in Montauban, which are served by the mobile application, will have the sign "carpooling space".

The outdoor advertising group said that the experiment will measure both how well people accept shared mobility of everyday life and the relevance of passenger shelters as urban meeting points.
