Covivio: 82.3% of 2019 dividend paid in shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Covivio (formerly Foncière des Régions) has announced that, at the end of the period of 29 April to 18 May inclusive, shareholders of 82.
26% of its capital chose to receive the payment of their dividends for 2019, of 4.80 euros per share, in shares.

This dividend payment and the settlement-delivery of new shares will take place on 22 May. The 7,185,223 shares issued will bear dividend rights from 1 January 2020 and will be subject to an application for admission to Euronext Paris and the MTA market in Milan.

The issue price for the new shares was set at 47.80 euros on 22 April. The real estate group said that the deal, which means a capital increase of 343 million euros, once again illustrates shareholders' confidence in Covivio's strategy.
