Bonduelle: 2018-19 net profit flat

(CercleFinance.com) - French agri-food group Bonduelle has posted 2018-19 net income of 72.
6 million euros, a tad above the 72.3 million reported for FY 2017-18, with an underlying operating margin of 4.5%, down 10 basis points on a comparable basis.

Revenue came in at 2,777.1 million euros, as reported, flat against the previous year. The 1.5% fall growth on a comparable basis is entirely due to the evolution of its fresh food business in the US.

Bonduelle anticipates moderate sales growth of 1.5% to 2.5% over FY 2019-20, with underlying operating profitability in the range of 115 million to 118 million euros, both at constant exchange rates. and a constant consolidation scope.
