TF1: agreement for specialist football channel

(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 announces the signing of an agreement with Mediapro group, a new player in French football, for a four-year renewable partnership that is based on a brand licence, an editorial and production partnership, and a partnership of talents.


This agreement enables Mediapro to complete its innovative project of a channel that is entirely dedicated to football, Téléfoot. The channel will broadcast live and give exclusive coverage of key matches and best of Ligue 1 from August 2020, when matches resume.

The channel will thus broadcast over 80% of Ligue 1 matches, including the ten best matches and the Sunday evening match, a magazine offer during the week and at weekends, as well as eight matches per day from Ligue 2.
