Ubisoft: inaugural bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Video game publisher Ubisoft announces that it has successfully placed an inaugural bond issue for a total of 500 million euros, with a five-year maturity (January 2023) and an annual coupon of 1.
289%.

The bond issue was oversubscribed to by over 4.4 times, reaching 2.2 billion euros. The net proceeds will be used for the company's general needs, including the refinancing of certain existing debts.

This issue will enable Ubisoft to extend the maturity of its debt profile at a more attractive cost than that of existing financial instruments, while diversifying its credit investor base.
