Derichebourg: inaugurates a new recycling platform

(CercleFinance.com) - Derichebourg Environnement is inaugurating its new Bassens recycling platform, near Bordeaux (33 department).

This platform is equipped with the latest recycling technologies, including a mixed line for the recycling of refrigerators and hot-water tanks, the first in France.

This new platform will have up to 64 full-time employees. The mill will be able to process 120,000 tonnes p.a., while its electrical and electronics (D3E) recycling facilities will be able to recycle 15,000 tonnes p.a.

Derichebourg Environnement has invested 41 million euros in this site, which will be the first in France to treat hot-water tanks and the group's third to recycle refrigerators.

Derichebourg Environnement currently has eleven D3E recycling sites in France.
