M6: 2022 net income falls 42.5%
(CercleFinance.com) - M6 has reported consolidated revenues of 1,357 million euros for FY 2022, down 2.
4% from 2021.
The decline in advertising revenues (-4.7%), against the backdrop of a worsening economic environment, was partly offset by the increase in non-advertising revenues (+8.0%), the group said.
At the same time, EBITA (excluding government subsidies) came to 334.4 million euros, up 2.4% y-o-y. However, EBIT fell 20.1% to 312 million euros.
At the bottom line, net income, group share came in at 161.5 million euros, down 42.5% y-o-y.
The Supervisory Board also announced that it had appointed a new Board of Directors, as the term of office of the current Board of Directors expired yesterday.
The new Board, appointed for a period of three years, will be chaired by Nicolas de Tavernost, in whom it has renewed its confidence.
