Hermès: FY sales growth of 10% at constant exchange rates
(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès has reported FY 2018 sales 5,966 million euros, up 7.
5% as reported and up 10% at constant exchange rates, growth which is particularly healthy, as it is essentially based on increased volumes.
The luxury goods company estimates that in 2018 its current operating profitability should be close to 34%, after the exceptional level reached in 2017. In the medium term, it confirms a target of ambitious sales growth at constant exchange rates.
Taking into account the group's free cash, on 7 February management decided to pay an interim dividend of 1.50 euro per share. Its detachment date has been set on 20 February, with a payment on 22 February.
