Teleperformance: stock down despite accelerating growth

(CercleFinance.com) - Teleperformance shares are losing ground on Thursday in Paris, despite the global leader in outsourced customer experience management reporting sustained growth in both its business and results in H1.


The company last night announced total growth of 15% in H1, including organic growth of 5.5%, despite a high year-on-year comparison basis.

Adjusted for non-recurring items, organic growth was even 14.5% in Q2, a clear improvement from Q1 2022 (+11.1%).

At the same time, the company's underlying EBITA margin increased to 14.3% in H1, compared to 14% a year earlier.

Despite these rather reassuring figures, its share was down 4.6% on Thursday in Paris.

In short, the company's H1 operating profit came in below its expectations, which investors have obviously seen.
