Atos: signs three-year deal with Sparkle

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with Sparkle, which is described as the leading international service provider in Italy and one of the world's leading operators, to meet the growing demand for cloud services and solutions from customers in Europe and other adjacent countries.


Atos will help Sparkle deliver consulting and systems integration services to the research and education community in France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Turkey, Portugal - and soon in other countries - through the Open Clouds for Research Environments (OCRE) initiative, which aims to accelerate the digitisation of European universities and research centres and the adoption of cloud systems.

Beyond the OCRE initiative, Atos and Sparkle will also work jointly on several public and private projects, leveraging their synergies in fixed network, 5G, IoT and security services.
