Sopra Steria: 2020 targets hit by cyber attack

(CercleFinance.com) - Taking stock of the cyber-attack announced on 21 October, Sopra Steria says that it now expects its revenue to decline by 4.
5% to 5% in organic terms (vs. previous forecast of a fall of between 2% and 4%) for FY 2020.

The IT group also forecasts an operating margin rate of around 6.5% (and no longer between 6% and 7%) and a net free cash flow of 50-100 million euros (vs. previously between 80-120 million euros).

Sopra Steria says that it has not observed any data leakage or damage caused by the cyberattack to its clients' information systems and that its commercial activity in the fourth quarter should not be significantly affected by this event.
