Crédit Agricole: inaugural issue of green bonds

(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole SA reports that it successfully completed its inaugural issue of green bonds totaling one billion euros, a preferred senior five-year issue structured by its investment banking division, Crédit Agricole CIB.


The banking group said this issue was hugely successful with investors, as reflected in the depth and quality of its order book. France, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands are the largest jurisdictions.

It added that the funds will finance projects for energy and environmental transition in all territories where the bank operates by the Crédit Agricole entities that are committed to this funding.
