Rothschild & Co: divests North American operations

(CercleFinance.com) - Rothschild & Co has said that it has entered into an agreement for Wintrust Financial Corporation for the latter to acquire two of Rothschild & Co North America's asset management businesses, Rothschild & Co Asset Management US and Rothschild & Co Risk Based Investments.


These investment managers, which specialise in equity investment strategies for institutional, intermediary and other clients, represent approximately 8 billion dollars in assets under management.

The transaction, the financial terms of which were not disclosed by the financial institution, is expected to close early in Q1 2023, subject to certain closing conditions.
