Rothschild & Co: H1 EPS down 28%

(CercleFinance.com) - Rothschild & Co has reported a 28% fall in net profit for the first six months of the year to 249 million euros, meaning EPS of 3.
43 euros, despite a 2% rise in revenues to nearly 1.38 billion euros.

By business line, the financial institution saw its half-yearly revenues increase by 3% in financial advisory services and by 23% in private banking and asset management, despite the market downturn. However, they fell by 20% in merchant banking.

Management said that the positive momentum observed in H1 will continue for the rest of 2022, subject to changes in the geopolitical context and market conditions.
