Virbac: H1 earnings up 5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Virbac has reported a 5.
2% increase in net profit to 77.6 million euros for H1 2022, as well as an adjusted underlying operating margin (before amortisation of assets from acquisitions) of 18.6%, just up from 18.5% in H1 2021.

The animal health group reported sales of 616.4 milliin euros, up 16.4% (+12% in organic terms), helped by a favourable base effect of one point related to new products acquired from Q2 2021.

Virbac intends to refine its annual sales growth range (between 5% and 10%) at its next business review, and estimates that its adjusted underlying operating margin should consolidate at around 15% at constant exchange rates, despite the impact of inflation.
