Air France: E3bn bond issue
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has successfully completed the issue of undated deeply subordinated notes in three tranches of 1 billion euros, totaling 3 billion euros.
As part of its recapitalisation plan, on 20 April 2021 the company issued 3 billion euros of undated deeply subordinated notes, fully subscribed by the French State.
This transaction was carried out by offsetting the claims it held on the Company under the shareholder loan (ACC) granted in May 2020 and fully drawn down, at 3 billion euros (the Super-Subordinated Notes).
Note that the share price fell by 6% yesterday.
