Air France-KLM: joint-venture with China Eastern broadened

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM and China Eastern Airlines today announce “a new step in broadening their cooperation” by extending their joint venture.


Air France-KLM's MRO arm (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), AFI KLM E&M, and China Eastern Airlines have signed a new agreement for component support for the Chinese airline's Boeing 787-9 fleet, which could eventually reach 15 aeroplanes.

This agreement covers repair services, the provision of a local parts stock as well as other services in the field of training and industrial development support.
