Air France: Anne-Marie Couderc named interim boss

(CercleFinance.com) - According to Le Figaro, on Tuesday Anne-Marie Couderc will be officially appointed as chair of the group Air France-KLM.


She will succeed Jean-Marc Janaillac, who has left the group following the refusal of a proposed pay agreement by Air France employees; their resulting strikes have badly hit the group's results.

Le Figaro says that Anne-Marie Couderc's term of office - who until now has sat on Air France-KLM's board of directors - could last several months, with the group having launched a process to recruit a new head, under the responsibility of Air France-KLM's appointments committee, in collaboration with a firm of head hunters.
