Kone: wins transport system order in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Wednesday that it has won an order to supply elevators and escalators for a mass rapid transit (MRT) line in Singapore, but did not unveil the value of this deal.


Kone will supply the city's transport system with a total of 218 elevators and 183 escalators. Works are expected to be completed in 2025, it said.

Yesterday, at the group's AGM in Helsinki, Kone shareholders approved dividends and confirmed eight members of its board of directors.
