Kone: wins order for high-rise building in Frankfurt

(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone has won an order to provide 22 elevators for a 49-story tower which is currently being built in the financial district of Frankfurt.


Kone will supply 13 high-rise passenger elevators operating at a speed of up to seven metres per second (1,600 feet per minute) and six machine-room-less elevators.

The "ONE" building is a mixed-use tower which is expected to be used daily by 1,800 people.

The tower will rise to a height of approximately 190 metres will and house hotel and office spaces.

It is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2021.
