Nokia: extends AT&T deal on managed IoT services

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia on Tuesday announced a deal with US telecom giant AT&T to offer Internet of Things (IoT) services to global corporate customers.


The Finnish company has extended its agreement with AT&T, so the operator's corporate customers will be able to connect and manage numerous IoT devices on their networks, supporting upgrades to 5G.

Nokia, which has successfully launched into the automotive and financial industries with AT&T, said they are now considering targeting additional industries including transportation, retail, agriculture, utilities, as well as smart cities.
