Nokia: expands cloud partnership with VMware

(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish telecoms gear maker Nokia on Thursday said that it would expand its partnership with US corporate software maker VMware to areas such as large-scale, multi-cloud operations.


Nokia and VMware will work together to enable a more seamless deployment of Nokia's virtual network functions on VMware's telco cloud platform.

As part of the deal, Nokia and VMware will also increase their investments in technology collaboration and advanced research & development to develop integrated solutions.
