Nokia: 5G successfully tested for manufacturing

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has said that it has successfully conducted, with Finnish operator Telia and US chipmaker Intel, a trial testing the capabilities of 5G to support industrial applications in a manufacturing environment.


The trial, which took place at the end of March, represents one of the first real-world applications of "Industry 4.0," the industrial trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies.
