IAG: Credit Suisse still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse maintains its "outperform" rating on the IAG share, along with its target price of 256 pence, despite reducing its estimate for the group's 2021 operating result from -2.
8 billion euros to -3.1 billion euros after its Q2 results publication.

While it says that "The market is concerned that persistent travel restrictions will drive easyJet and IAG to raise equity later this year," the broker does not think that capital increases are likely in 2021 for either airline (the other stock being easyJet).

"We consider liquidity buffers provide sufficient cushion/flexibility to manage through the winter and positions each carrier to take advantage of a likely strong summer 2022," analysts say.
