IAG: to buy back convertible bond

(CercleFinance.com) - International Airlines Group on Monday said that it plans to issue euro-denominated senior unsecured bonds to finance the repurchase of a convertible bond.


The company said it would offer 100,200 euros per 100,000 euros of bonds as a way to purchase a 500-million-euro issue of 0.25% convertible bonds due in November 2020.

In addition, IAG will pay accrued interest on the bonds from 2019, the company said in a statement.
