Almirall: Teva's finance chief to join as CFO

(CercleFinance.com) - Almirall said on Monday that Mike McClellan, Teva's current chief financial officer, will join as new CFO in November, succeeding David Nieto, who has decided to step down from his role.


The Spanish drugmaker - currently greatly benefiting from strong development - said that before joining Teva, McClellan had a long career at Sanofi, where he was CFO for Sanofi North America from 2012 to 2015.

He also served as CFO for Sanofi Europe from 2010 to 2012.

Almirall CEO Peter Guenter said he worked directly together with the executive, both in Europe and US, the two territories that are currently the most strategic for Almirall.
