Siemens Gamesa: wins wind turbine order in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has won an order to build two wind farms in India, the company said on Wednesday.


The group that was created in 2016 from the merger of Spain's Gamesa with the wind energy unit of Siemens will provide ReNew Power, India's largest renewable energy producer, with the infrastructure needed to install and operate both facilities.

It will supply, erect and commission 48 wind turbines in the state of Gujarat, in the West of the country, and 38 wind turbines in Maharashtra, also in the West, the company said.
