Novo Nordisk: investment plan in Bagsværd

(CercleFinance.com) - The Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest 5.
4 billion Danish kronor (about 730 million euros) in the expansion of its existing operations in Bagsværd, as well as the construction of a new plant nearby.

This investment will provide the group with additional R&D capacity for the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients to supply its global clinical trials.

These expansions will provide capacity to develop Novo Nordisk's future oral and injectable product portfolio. The investment project is expected to be completed in 2024 and will create about 160 new jobs.
