Zealand Pharma: opens new office in Boston

(CercleFinance.com) - Danish biotech group Zealand Pharma today announced the opening of new headquarters in Boston as the company looks to commercialize its pipeline in the US.


The new office of almost 500 metres squared will accommodate about 40 employees who will be primarily focused on commercial and HR functions.

The move comes as Zealand recently stepped up its commercial buildout with the acquisition of assets from Valeritas, including a marketed wearable insulin delivery device.

Zealand's pipeline of investigational medicines includes three candidates in late stage trials, with one candidate being reviewed for regulatory approval in the US.
