Carlsberg: Credit Suisse raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse maintains its Outperform rating on Carlsberg shares, having increased its target price for them to 1,160 Danish kronor (from 1,130 Danish kronor).
The broker believes that business growth in Asia could come as a pleasant surprise, especially as it will be fuelled by additional investment in the second half of the year, which should offset the decline in consumption in Europe.
"We think the company can raise FY22 guidance again at Q3," says the analyst, although he is aware that short-term investor sentiment will also be driven by commodity price fluctuations.
Against this backdrop, Credit Suisse expects organic EBIT growth of +11% for FY2022 and increases its 2022 EPS by 26%.
