Siltronic: UBS initiates coverage with 'sell' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - The UBS research department this morning began to monitor the share of the German semiconductor group Siltronic with a "sell" rating.

The broker's 12-month target price of 65 euros suggests downside potential of almost 20%.

According to analysts, the risks that weigh on the share of this big name in the semiconductor sector, whose clients include Infineon, Intel, Micron, Samsung and TSMC, are not sufficiently integrated by the market.

Although confident about Siltronic's long-term prospects, UBS is concerned about a deterioration in the cyclical trend in the sector, where supply is expected to exceed demand in 2019 and 2020.
