Siemens Energy: strengthens presence in Saudi Arabia

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Energy will strengthen the transmission network in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, by supplying electricity to over 30,000 homes in Roshn, a residential community spanning some 20 million square metres.


The Kingdom's Public Investment Fund (PIF) officially launched Roshn as one of its four mega projects in 2020, aiming to develop communities in the Kingdom's major cities, increasing Saudi homeownership to 70%, while supporting job creation.

Siemens Energy will help provide electricity to this sustainable urban community, ensuring safe, reliable and secure power supply for residents and visitors.

Siemens Energy will start the project in July. Work is expected to be energised by May 2023 and completed by August 2023.
