E.ON: extends partnership with RWTH University

ON announces that it will continue its cooperation with RWTH Aachen University, extending their partnership for five years, which has been setting standards in interdisciplinary and networked energy research since its inception in 2006.

Over the next five years, the energy group will fund joint research projects totaling ten million euros. In addition, up to half a million euros will be used each year to fund non-profit making projects.

They will promote research projects in the fields of energy and sustainability, energy system analysis and optimisation, smart grids, energy storage, energy efficiency, electrification and digitalisation.
