E.ON: invests in the start-up HoloBuilder

(CercleFinance.com) - German electricity producer E.
ON announced on Monday that it will invest in the German-American start-up HoloBuilder, a company that created software to assess the progress of building sites.

Incorporated in Aachen, Gerrmany, although now based in San Francisco, HoloBuilder makes enables users to virtually visit sites that are under construction thanks to 360-degree images, but also to document the progress of work thanks to an application enabling users to refer to the site's situation at earlier dates.

E.DIS now plans to use HoloBuilder on over 20 large projects per year, as well as more than 500 smaller projects.
