E.ON: H1 results down

ON share is pretty flat in Frankfurt today, after the Essen-based energy group published H1 adjusted net income that is down 16% at 0.9 billion euros, with its adjusted operating profit falling by 12% to 1.7 billion euros.

Sales rose 5% to 16.1 billion euros, althouhg its results were particularly penalised by a still difficult situation on the British market, while its net economic debt climbed to 20.2 billion euros. at the end of June.

Judging these results to be in line with its forecasts, E.ON has confirmed its FY 2019 target ranges of 2.9 billion to 3.1 billion euros for adjusted operating profit and 1.4 billion to 1.6 billion euros for adjusted net income.
